Featured Recipe

Pan Seared Watermelon and vanilla ice cream Sundae

Ingredients (8):

1 each              Large seedless watermelon Diced into Large Cubes
1 liter               vanilla ice Cream
8 oz                 chocolate

1Tbsp              Butter

As needed       Whipped Cream and Fresh Berries

Method:

This recipe sounds a little different but it is tasty!

Melt the chocolate in a small Paderno mixing bowl over a pot of boiling water  stirring occasionally.

Heat medium sized Paderno Pan to high heat.

Add butter and carefully add the watermelon.  (It is very important that you do not add to many pieces of watermelon as overcrowding will cause it to simply boil instead of sear).

To assemble the sundae, layer the ingredients in a parfait glass...start with watermelon, ice cream then chocolate sauce. Repeat the layer until the glass is full usually 2 or 3 layers in total.

Garnish with some whip cream and fresh berries.

Enjoy!
